Integrity, loyalty, dedication, commitment and determination are just a few of the values that Judge Andrews maintains on a daily basis. These values are important for any elected official, but especially for a tenured Judge who desires to have a positive impact on the community where he has resided his entire life.


A lifetime resident of Oklahoma County, Judge Andrews obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma (‘86) and a Juris Doctorate degree from Oklahoma City University (‘89). Prior to taking the bench, Judge Andrews maintained a private law practice for over twenty-two (22) years, representing both individual and business clients in a variety of proceedings, including but not limited to: general commercial and business litigation, debtor/creditor, replevin, landlord/tenant, foreclosure, collections, bankruptcy, divorce, probate, estate planning and personal injury.
In 2022 and 2023, Judge Andrews served as the Presiding Administrative Judge for the Seventh Judicial District, and in 2021, Judge Andrews served as Vice-Presiding Administrative Judge for the Seventh Judicial District. Appointed as a Special Judge in Oklahoma County on March 1, 2011, Judge Andrews was elected to the position of District Judge of Oklahoma County, effective January 12, 2015, and is currently serving a third term through 2026. Previous docket assignments include Family and/or Domestic Relations, Victim’s Protective Orders and Mental Health Emergency Detention proceedings.
Judge Andrews and his wife, Mollie, recently celebrated their thirty-sixth year of marriage, and are the proud parents of two adult-aged daughters and parents-in-law to their husbands.
